Where is Château de l’Étang?
In Limeyrat, in the Périgord area of the Dordogne, south-west France (24210), about 25 km from Périgueux and 51 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde. The 19th-century château stands on a 27-hectare estate with a pond and forests.
How many guests can attend a wedding?
Up to 100 guests. Every wedding receives a tailor-made proposal based on your plans.
Can guests stay on site?
Yes, 20 adults can stay on site in 10 units: four suites in the Château, a Longère, two domes, a south suite and two suites in the dovecote. Beds and terms are confirmed in your proposal.
When can we get married at the château?
The château hosts weddings from the 2027 season. Enquiries are open now through the form on this page.
How much does it cost?
Every wedding is quoted individually after a first conversation about your dates, guest numbers and wishes. No prices are published.
How do we get there?
Thenon TER station is about 11 km away. Brive Vallée de la Dordogne airport is about 55 km away and Bergerac Dordogne Périgord airport about 80 km. Free parking on site. Taxis and transfers by prior booking with a supplier.
What about catering?
Caterer or chef for groups, on quotation. Buffet breakfast is included for guests staying on site.
Are children welcome?
Yes, of all ages. Cot and high chair free on request, subject to availability. Constant supervision is required near the pond, the pool and the stairs.
Is the venue accessible to guests with reduced mobility?
No accommodation is adapted for guests with reduced mobility at opening. There are steps and stairs. Please contact the team before booking.
